OneSource has a direct placement opportunity for a Regional Safety Manager for a National employee-owned industrial construction and maintenance company that has been operating for over 50 years with 6000+ employees with 15 offices nationwide. The Regional Safety Manager will be based out of the Decatur IL area, traveling up to 25% within the assigned area. Job Summary:
The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, communication and coordination of all health, safety, & environmental programs and management systems for the company(s) to include Corporate. The position develops and provides technical and administrative direction on all HS&E decisions, which bear critical importance to the overall company objectives, operations, and profitability.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:

Develop, implement, and manage safety policies and procedures on all assigned projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations within the 1910 & 1926.

Work with Project management to ensure safety standards are present throughout job planning and execution.

Travel to project locations to verify safety performance.

Present Site Safety Plans at kickoff meeting to Client and Subcontractors.

Provide written reports and updates to Company Leadership.

Review internal HS&E polices/procedures/management systems to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing or develop new recommendations from the assessments.

Be an active member of relevant organizations (USOLN, ASSP, NSC…) and attend conferences on behalf of the Company(s).

Demonstrated record of high performance with 7+ years of direct Industrial Construction Safety experience.

5+ years of practical experience as a HSE Manager and implementing HSE programs.

Experience with U.S. regulations applicable for HSE.

Experience performing Internal workshop/site audits and HSE management system audits.

Knowledge of the respective industry recognized standards used in construction project inspections.

Expert knowledge of Human Performance Principles and Theory.

Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead and influence other decision makers within the organization.

Salary:
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year (Depending on Experience)
