Strategic Oversight and Leadership:
Provide expert technical advice on complex HSE issues to line management and site personnel, guiding significant safety decisions and strategies.
Lead and motivate HSE teams across multiple locations, embedding a strong, sustainable HSE culture company-wide.
Policy Development and Compliance:
Develop, execute, and oversee HSE plans aligned with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
Enhance safety protocols and procedures, ensuring robust compliance across all operations.
Safety Culture and Training:
Design and deliver comprehensive HSE training and development programs, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Champion proactive HSE initiatives and campaigns, enhancing safety and environmental management practices.
Performance Management and Continuous Improvement:
Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor, report, and enhance HSE performance. o Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and enforce compliance with established HSE standards.
Incident and Emergency Management:
Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly to determine root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Design and implement emergency response strategies and manage diverse incident management roles.
Regulatory Engagement and Reporting:
Maintain active involvement in industry networks and associations, staying at the forefront of HSE practices and regulatory changes.
Communicate key regulatory and compliance updates to all relevant personnel, ensuring widespread understanding and adherence.

Position Requirements: • Certifications and Professional Experience: Hold relevant safety certifications (e.g., COSS, COHS, CHST, NEBOSH).
Demonstrated leadership in senior roles within major contractor organizations or operators, with significant experience in onshore construction and facility turnarounds
. • Strategic Leadership and Communication Skills:
Proven ability to lead and inspire multi site HSE teams, with a strong track record of developing and enforcing a robust HSE culture.
Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential for managing change and promoting safety initiatives.
Comprehensive knowledge of process safety principles and extensive experience in incident and emergency management roles.
Strong safety behavior skills and the ability to conduct thorough investigations and drive sustainable corrective actions.
• Flexibility and Travel Requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends as required by job demands. Willingness to engage in frequent local and occasional out-of-area overnight travel.
