HSE Program Administrator

OneSource EHS is recruiting for our client, a leading international services contractor with a proven track record in providing a highly safe integrated, multi-disciplined construction support services and maintenance solutions in the manufacturing, energy, petrochemical, off and onshore, industrial, and utilities sectors. We are currently looking for an HSE Program Administrator to oversee and execute the successful implementation of strategic safety initiatives across our organization.

Summary:
The HSE Program Administrator will play a critical role in managing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs throughout our diverse operations. This position will focus on the implementation of safety initiatives to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, and administration of workers' compensation case management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE administration, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
Job Description:
This position assists in essential job duties and functions with the overall objective of working in a team environment consistently providing top-quality technical and administrative support to from start-up to close-out, while establishing, developing and maintaining solid customer relationships.
  • Assist with major project activities, including support of team objectives and/or project milestones
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Report directly to the Region HSE Director
  • Execute administrative tasks
  • Ensure that team correspondence and documentation are handled according to a prescribed format in conjunction with Corporate Communications guidelines.
  • Assist in writing, editing, and updating the HSE Procedure Manual and Job Bulletins
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with contractor and supplier management platforms such as ISN (ISNetworld), Avetta, etc.
  • Workers’ compensation claims and case management
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements:
  • A combination of education and directly related HSE experience equal to five (5) years;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Client HSE management software.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to become proficient is use of company standard personal computer equipment and software with the ability to train others
  • Ability to become proficient in use of company specific software programs
  • Strong organizational skills, judgment, flexibility
  • Strong leadership skills/team player
  • Ability to proficiently communicate in both English and Spanish
  • Typically requires five (5) years of HSE related experience

  • Proof of US Citizenship
  • Legally authorized to operate a motor vehicle
  • Serve as a company representative to external clients
  • Participate in company required and position specific training and career development
  • Provide feedback on personnel performance and development
  • Participate and facilitate corporate/department meetings and training
